Check in / Check Out
- Cottages:
check-in time is after 2pm, check-out is before 10am (late check outs
may be available)
- Campground: check-in time is after noon, check-out
is before noon (late check outs may be available)
CAMPERS: If you arrive after 10pm you will be
asked to set up in the field near the office.
- Visiting guests MUST register at the office
and are expected to depart by 8pm. Be respectful of your neighbors.
Campstore / Office
Monday - Thursday 10am – 6pm Friday 10am—10pm Saturday 10am—5pm,
7—9pm Sunday 10am – 5pm.
- Sometimes the hours may vary (if the hours are
different we will post notice).
- There may be times when the
store/office is closed briefly, if we need to run an errand or tend to
something at a site/cottage.
- If we close the office at
some point during the day we will post a sign stating when we will return.
Conduct
Please Note – the North Woodstock police patrol the
campground (often they patrol the grounds on foot.) They will enforce all laws including under aged
drinking, illegal use of drugs, disorderly conduct, etc.
- Quiet hours are
from 10pm until 8am (Turn off radios and talk quietly – be mindful of
your neighbors who may be sleeping.)
- Disorderly
conduct, intoxication, and loud and/or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
Please inform
management if there is unacceptable behavior near you. We cannot address the issue if we are not
made aware of it. It is difficult to
hear the noise in the office. After Hours: Police call 911 or 603-745-4849
- SPEED
LIMIT is 10mph – there are many children at play. Pedestrians have the right of way.
- Please be
especially careful near the Camp Store / Recreation Hall.
- Operating ATVs and Mini-Bikes on the property is
prohibited
- Bicycle riding is
limited to roads. No cutting through
campsites. No riding bikes after dusk.
There is no
lifeguard on duty. Swim in the pond /
river at your own risk – Children must be supervised by an adult.
- Please note:
fishing in NH requires a license (license are available in the town of North
Woodstock).
Trash:
Reminder this is the White
Mountains – there are bears and other wild animals!
- Do NOT leave any food in your tent, or in your camp area (store all
food items within your vehicle).
- Dispose of all
trash promptly after eating/cooking in the dumpster located next to the
bathhouse.
- Help us to
recycle by separating bottles / cans and placing them in the appropriate
containers located by the office.
- Please keep your
site clean, report any damage or problems.
- We reserve
the right to evict anyone for inappropriate behavior.
Campfires/Fireplaces
- DO NOT bring firewood from out of state. There is state mandated order due to a destructive beetle that kills maple trees.
- Do not cut, chop, or break any live trees or
shrubs.
- For your convenience we sell dry firewood at the Camp Store. Firewood is also sold around town.
- NO CHAIN SAWS ALLOWED (no one want to listen
to that kind of noise and the trees on the property are not yours to cut)
- FIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED BY MIDNIGHT
- Do not move fire rings – fires must be built
& enjoyed within the established rings.
- No huge fires. Do not pour lighter fluid, gasoline, etc into
your fire (bad for the environment and you).
- Do not leave a fire unattended.
- Do not place bottles or cans into the fire.
- Cottage guests: please do not use our
pots/pans in a fireplace/campfire.
Bathroom / Common Areas
- Please limit your
shower to a maximum of 12 minutes (each quarter will give you 3 minutes).
- Please report any
plumbing, cleaning, etc to the office so that we may attend to it immediately.
- Parents will be
held responsible for the actions of their children and their guests at all
times.
- No smoking in the
Bathrooms, Recreation Hall or Camp Store.
- Please be
considerate (if others are waiting) when using the pool table and games. Report
any mechanical problems.
- Movies are
available for sign out (free) in the Camp Store. If viewing a movie in the Recreation Hall –
be mindful of children (i.e. R rated movies should be viewed in the late
evening).
Pets
- Pets are allowed
throughout the campground and in specified cottages. Please bring proof of vaccination.
- Pets must be
leased at all times.
- Pets must be well
behaved and not disruptive to other campers. PLEASE control barking!
- Pets cannot be
left unattended at anytime – if dogs are left unattended in a cottage please
put dog in crate or on the porch.
- Owners must pick
up after their pets (YES, even in the woods!)
- Owners are
responsible for their pet’s actions.
Deposits / Payment
- Reservations are
guaranteed therefore we require a deposit at the time of reservation (we accept
Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Money Orders, or Personal Checks). We require the first night’s fee.
- Payment is due in
full at check-in (we do not accept personal checks unless they are mailed 2
weeks in advance)
- All cancellations
are subject to a 10% processing fee.
- We have a 7-day
cancellation notice policy. If a
reservation is cancelled 7 or more days prior to the arrival date, a refund
will be issued (minus the 10% processing fee).
- Refunds are not
given for reservations that are cancelled less than 7 days before the arrival
date – this includes early departures due to weather conditions.
If you cancel in less than 7 days you can forfeit your deposit or we
will issue you a credit (minus the 10% fee).
