See Photos Winter 2005 New bathroom in cottage 5. We built a new bathroom—the only cottage with a tub! New an addition to cottage 4. We added a new TV room with a sleeping loft—we also renovated the kitchen ….it is larger and encompasses the entire room (was used to be the living area). Sept 2004 Labor Day New England Clam Bake August 2004 Purchased new catering tent! Hosted our first wedding! “North of the North End” Italian Dinner Chicken BBQ July 2004 Built new children’s play area Steak Night! Chicken BBQ June 2004 Pig Roast and Poker Run weekend. Sept 2003 Labor Day weekend—Traditional New England Clam Bake See Photos August 2003 Breakfast every Sunday morning. See Photos July 2003 Began serving breakfast Sunday mornings. Pig Roast and Poker Run weekend. June 2003 Renovations to cottage 6... Painted interior walls, installed new hardwood floor in the kitchen, refinished bedroom floor, installed new rug in front bedroom/den, and replaced bathroom floor with new ceramic tile and replaced shower walls. May 2003 Renovations to cottages 1,2,3; painted interior walls, installed new carpeting, installed new bathroom tile floors. Sept 2002 Maple Haven hosted the Timber framer's Guild that built the town’s new Timber framed visitor center. Over the course of two weeks these volunteers stayed at Maple Haven. Some of them camped and others stayed in the cottages. Everyone enjoyed the home cooked meals provided everyday. Drew (see About Us) served the crew both Breakfast and Dinner. The last night of their stay the group enjoyed a traditional New England clambake— lobsters, clams, corn, potatoes and beer! Click for photos August 2002 Brookside sites added.
