New bathroom in cottage 5.  We built a new bathroom—the only cottage with a tub!  New an addition to cottage 4.  We added a new TV room with a sleeping loft—we also renovated the kitchen ….it is larger and encompasses the entire room (was used to be the living area).

Renovations to cottage 6... Painted interior walls, installed new hardwood floor in the kitchen, refinished bedroom floor, installed new rug in front bedroom/den, and replaced bathroom floor with new ceramic tile and replaced shower walls.

Sept 2002

Maple Haven hosted the Timber framer's Guild that built the town’s new Timber framed visitor center. Over the course of two weeks these volunteers stayed at Maple Haven.  Some of them camped and others stayed in the cottages.  Everyone enjoyed the home cooked meals provided everyday.  Drew (see About Us) served the crew both Breakfast and Dinner.  The last night of their stay the group enjoyed a traditional New England clambake— lobsters, clams, corn, potatoes and beer!  Click for photos
